ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS AND STANDARDS

 

The standards pupils attain are broadly average.  This represents excellent progress from their levels of entry to the school.  Some pupils make outstanding gains in learning.

 

 

 

KS3 (Year 9) SATS 2008

 

           

50% achieved Level 5 or more in English

                        36% achieved Level 5 or more in Maths

                        50% achieved Level 5 or more in Science

 

                        86% achieved Level 4 or above in English

                        86% achieved Level 4 or above in Mathematics

                        86% achieved Level 4 or above in Science

 

KS3 (Year 9) SATS 2009

 

           

27% achieved Level 5 or more in English

                        45% achieved Level 5 or more in Maths

                        36% achieved Level 5 or more in Science

 

                        78% achieved Level 4 or above in English

                        82% achieved Level 4 or above in Mathematics

                      100% achieved Level 4 or above in Science

 

 

This Academic Year 2009/2010 will be the first year that we have Year 11 students (15/16 year olds) who will take GCSE exams in May/June 2010.
