The Kent wide FLAIR award (Foreign Language Achievement Is Recognised) is an award that recognises good practice in implementing primary languages, eg  there is a policy in place, there are schemes of work, achievement is reported to parents, the subject is monitored etc. All of this was done at Portal House and so the award has been given which lasts for three years.
